Please join us at Avogadro’s Number on Sunday November 20th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for an informational session about the upcoming citizen-driven Referendum to repeal City Council’s substantial changes to our Land Use Code, now called the “Land Development Code” (LDC).
The new “Land Development Code” is a set of far-reaching and extensive changes adopted by Council on November 1, 2022 that have blindsided residents, eliminated neighborhood notification and meetings, and gutted public participation as we know it regarding housing developments throughout the City.
Even with the shift from Land Use Code to the new Land Development Code, the City Council has failed to implement truly affordable housing strategies for those that need it the most. Ultimately, the LDC is a gift to out-of-state developers and real estate investors, and a slap in the face to the residents, voters, and tax-payers of Fort Collins.
Stop by Avogradro’s Number between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm on Sunday November 20th to get more information about the citizen-driven effort to repeal City Council’s ill-advised Land Development Code.
Event hosted by Preserve Fort Collins.
