More Information

The new “Land Development Code” is a set of far-reaching and extensive changes adopted by Council on November 1, 2022 that have blindsided residents, eliminated neighborhood notification and meetings, and gutted public participation as we know it with regard to residential developments throughout the City.

Even with the shift from Land Use Code to the new Land Development Code, the City Council has failed to guarantee truly affordable housing options for those that need it the most, only guaranteeing gentrification and rapidly skyrocketing housing costs. Ultimately, the LDC is a gift to out-of-state developers and real estate investors, and a slap in the face to all residents, voters, and tax-payers of Fort Collins.

Event hosted by Preserve Fort Collins.
