Fort Collins City Council election on the ballot this November 2023

There is a Fort Collins City Council election on the ballot this November (which is a change from previous city elections which were in April) with 4 of the 7 seats up for a vote.

Although Council may attempt to bring back some or all of the unpopular and now repealed Land Development Code before the end of the current session, this election will likely determine the future direction of land use in our city.

Though national elections tend to generate the highest voter turnout, local candidate elections represent the best chance for each of us to have a voice in our representative democracy.
