Attention Fort Collins Residents! Here we go again…
The Fort Collins City Council will be meeting on Tuesday, October 3rd, beginning at 6:00 PM for the First Reading of a New Land Use Code that many are calling the “Land Development Code 2.0”, since little to nothing has meaningfully changed since the first version of the Land Development code was foisted upon Fort Collins residents in November, 2022. As you may recall, the previous 2022 Land Development Code 1.0 was repealed earlier this year after a very successful petition drive of thousands of concerned citizens all across Fort Collins.
Please speak up and let Council know that the rebooted “Land Development Code 2.0” not acceptable! Please consider emailing councilmembers at cityleaders@fcgov.com or speaking in person at the Council meeting tomorrow night. The "Items Related to the Adoption of a New Land Use Code" is Item #16 on the Meeting Agenda, and is expected to be addressed immediately after public comment.
